You sound shocked at this. It's always the same. Tickets for wifey and
I, to Manchester from Twyford, return £62 each. Then I have to get the
other 20 miles to my mums on a bus which adds another hour onto the
journey.

I can drive door to door *return* for less than that, in less time
(legally) in the comfort of my own car, with my own music/radio and
stop when and if I want to.
