Perhaps they could re-import ex-DLR cars that were exported 2nd hand
to Essen (but were imported new anyway.

The 11 P86 sets would be about the right fleet size x5 2-set trains
and one spare unit :o)

Even have grandfather rights ?

Not that I am aware Essen are selling them .

Yes. As well as buying them on-line they sell them in the buffet
[1].

As well as pay as you go cards sensible people swap the cards to
make police spying less useful. Sadly it is necessary to take basic
security measures against those like the police who wish to make the
world a worse place to live.
