Government officials who run prosecutions are frequently criticised
for going for a charge they feel they can easily get a conviction
for, rather than the appropriate charge.

Sadly, it is not a requirement for making criticisms of that nature that
people must know what they are talking about.

If the criticism had been made by me alone then you would have a
point. However, the criticism has been made by a large range of
people.
