So how come....
I just booked return to Heathrow on BA for two weeks time and it cost about
the same as the price of petrol to drive to London...and it is about the
same price as Easyjet to some God forsaken airport near London paying for
all their extras? .... what's the snag...I don't see one apart from the
fact it might be an AIRBUS? ......

I think you'll find that Heathrow turns out to be the snag!
Go EZY to Gatwick, much better.
YMMV!

Sick bags that double as film reprocessing bags, lottery tickets and
mobile phone cards from companies you've never heard of, the only thing
missing from a Ryanair flight is the on board bingo! Give me Sqeezyjet
every time!

What's the matter - thought you would love Airbus since the French still
require Morse...

Ah but to they? Are they another country like EI that only requires
Morse for their own nationals but waives it for those with overseas
HAREC qualifications?

They expect you to take your own tea and biscuits and tip the crew.
Nick.
p.s. Anybody ever told them about the advantages of cleaning their
bleedin' aircraft?

They do? The announcement I saw some time in the last 18 months or so
stated that Morse testing is no longer required for any class of
licence in France.
