variation order
Wonder if anyone can help?.

My ex who is on income support for some reason is making waves with
the csa.

I am a director of a limited company on a Paye salary of £5000 pa. In
addition I recieved dividends from the company of approx £5000 last
year. I also own a building and recieve rental income of £2500 after
deducting exspenses etc.

I have never cooperated with the CSA (not giving any salary
details)and they obtained details of my income from the inland
revenue.
They subsequently have been collecting £5 per week which they access
based on an income of £5000PA !!(they cant even understand the figures
on my tax return!!!).

My ex has contacted them claiming I recieve £10000 pa rental (which is
true but after bank charges expenses etc nets down to £2500 pa).

My understanding is that under csa 2 my dividends from my company are
ignored unless the PWC applies for a variation. the CSA have cocked up
and should have accessed my income on my £5000 salary plus my net
rents
of £2500 total £7500 pa.

Since my ex is on income support it make no difference to her what I
pay the csa since anything above £10 per week the state keeps.

My question is -can the csa apply for a variation themselves without
the PWC making an application (which will have no benefit for her at
all)-if that is the case not only would my income of £7500 be accessed
but the could lump my dividends into the equation.

Any advice greatly needed

Thanks
