PLUG-IN citizen-led democracy/APPEAL FOR CO-OPERATION

which can serve as an example of a request for co-operation among people 
and groups concerned about "worthy causes" ;-)

Protests like _*Climate Camp*_ are invaluable in bringing dangers and 
challenges into public view. They can help to inform and may change 
people's attitudes.

To alter _*government action*_ and direction of _*public policy*_ we 
need _*stronger democracy*_ so that the people can overrule the 
politicians, colluding with their backers in business and finance.

_*Direct democracy*_ is a big part of the answer but without the right 
"tools" it will remain an unfulfilled dream. These tools of citizen-led 
democracy include _*"the initiative"*_ (law-proposal), the 
_*veto-referendum*_ (a government law can be blocked or repealed); plus 
_"*the recall*"_ of elected MPs and officials.

Join the struggle for democracy in 21st century Britain. _*"It's about 
time"*_.

Why not _"PLUG IN"_ the campaign for direct democracy, adding this call
