Derbyshire Treasure Hunt
During the last few months an undercover team consisting of Gourmets/AA
inspectors & tourism experts have secretly been touring Derbyshire
Pubs/Restaurants and Bistros surreptitiously marking off check lists as
their meals and drinks were served up to them.
Now there's a job I could enjoy!

In Marston Montgomery, which lies between Ashbourne and Uttoxeter they
discovered a Rural Treasure, The Crown Inn, which last night received the
first prize as "Bistro/Pub of the Year" at the 5th Derbyshire Food Awards
Ceremony.

The folk at The Crown obviously ticked all the boxes, & look forward to
maintaining that high standard should you decide to drop in for a quiet pint
of Real Ale and a chat, for a corner table for 2 in the restaurant or for
that 2,3,4 or 5 course family party you were planning.

No need to stagger home if the celebrations go on into the night, The Crown
also offers 7 en-suite B&B rooms, just up the stairs to your left which
have also earned them 4 AA Stars for B&B accommodation.
