What do you mean by 'modern education'? The education systems in a
number of Middle Eastern countries - Turkey and Iran are two
outstanding examples - are far superior in quite a number of respects
to those in Britain, producing scholars and graduates of a calibre of
which British educationalists could only dream. You only need to
compare the scientific and mathematical skills of the average 11 year-
old Turk or Iranian with those of an 11 year-old Brit to understand
how 'backward' much of our schooling here is considered in comparison.

And there is no such thing as the 'Biblical version of science'. If
you think there is, it means you neither know the meaning of science
nor understand the function and purpose of the Bible.
