If the government respects and trusts it's people, then it should
trust them to keep and bear arms. It is a symbol of a free state.

But i bet you teabags also favor a million exceptions to gun ownership 
like we have in america. Anyone convicted of a felony, even a 
non-violent one, loses their RKBA. Same for those with a misdemeanor 
conviction for domestic abuse.  Same for those with a dishonorable 
discharge from the military. And our govt is now trying to expand that 
to include any soldier ever diagnosed with PTSD!!  And the NRA and 
american gunowners  are cool with all these exceptions.
