The quango gravy train

Quango = *non-job creation scheme* .
If your son or your niece or your cousin is a bit queer, and not able
to get a job on a competitive basis, ok, no problem, your uncle has a
contact in a quango and will put in a word to get a non-job for him,
permanent and pensionable, with a lucrative salary for life and a
higher pension than that obtainable by those of us who have to work
for a living, and all for just sitting at a desk and pretending to be
doing something, occupying a non-job in a quango.
The European Union has developed the non-job creation scheme into a
fine art.
An MEP is clearly occupying a non-job.
An MEP never does any productive work.
The European Parliament is only a vast non-job creation scheme.....
and MEPs are unemployed and unemployable social security claimants who
get a higher rate of welfare benefit than other unemployable bums.

Yes, but you have to get yourself elected and that can be difficult.
