Position :         General Assistant
Job Summary:

He/She must be self-motivated and thrive on opportunity and challenge.
We are looking for people who interact with customers and solve their
problems. You will own assigned customer account relationships and all
the related purchasing service projects from the receipt of RFQ's
though researching best pricing and winning the sale. The ideal
candidate will pride himself on satisfying customer requests quickly
and to everyone's satisfaction in making the sale.
You will be positioned as the front-line contact person with our
valued suppliers handling the existing contracts. You will be the one
who makes things happen, teaming with our logistics operation and
using the best IT to connect to suppliers and vendors base, seeing to
it that the right items get from origin to destination on time - at
the best total procurement cost.
Job Responsibilities:
·         Provide highest service level and best pricing for customers
·         Receive and process RFQ's
·         Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
·         Expedite, check and compare quotations  received from
suppliers
·         Obtaining prices of materials from established and/or new
suppliers
·         Preparation of price quotations to the end-user
·        Administrative handling and maintenance of existing and newly
established purchasing contracts
·         Receiving and processing of Purchase Orders against existing
contracts
·         Communicating with both suppliers and the end-user including
handling clarification issues
·         Update database notes and follow-up on any outstanding
issues
·         Handle clarifications on specs with both suppliers and
customers
·         Build-up and maintain relationships with the buyers of
assigned customers accounts and the inside sales at suppliers and
resolve any issues with both the supplier and the customer
·         Receive, check and process purchase orders
·         Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Requirements:
1.      Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience  professional
certification)
2.     more than 2 years experience in purchasing including management
of vendors and/or Customer Service or Customer Support
3.      Outstanding communication skills required, both written and
verbal
4.      Strong analytical and problem solving skills
5.      Excellent relationship building skills
6.      Proven ability to think things through, prioritize and make
sound decisions
7.      Must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-
task
8.      Excellent computer skills:  MS Work, Excel, Power Point, and
Internet Sourcing
