Junior Software Developer

* Preparing low-level designs based on functional requirements and
designs produced by the development and commercial teams; *
Participating in design review meetings, preparing documentation, data
reports and all other related processes to ensure ongoing long-term
product quality; * Working closely with colleagues across the
commercial team (QA, BA, Product Specialists and Project Manager) to
improve product quality at all stages of the project lifecycle.

In order to be considered to join our hardworking and highly valued
team, you will need to demonstrate some level of training or expertise
in the following:

· Knowledge of the Agile methodology, either practical working, or
theoretical, and a willingness to embrace this work style; ·
Experience or practical training in software product development
within a web based environment – we utilise VB6, SQL (ideally SQL
Server), Classic ASP (some ASP.Net or XML will be useful for future
projects), HTML and JavaScript; · A demonstrated ability to work with
others to develop low-level designs and carry out implementation; ·
Experience or training in object-oriented modelling and methodologies;
· Detail focus and a genuine ‘team player’ attitude, with a flexible
and adaptable work style; · Above all you must have good communication
and interpersonal skills, be self motivated and able to deliver
results without having to be closely monitored.
