IT Director EMEA - £85-95k per annum
Job Description: Create Global Applications strategy to support
business requirements Direct the teams that define, develop, and
maintain strategic and operational plans for all Business Applications
and Web Solutions Act as high level escalation point for issues and
problems associated with Business Applications performance and
deliverables, and significant input into the annual IT planning
process. Management of outsourced vendor relationships to ensure that
vendor work is consistent with departmental standards. Establishes
technical design and standards for infrastructure throughout the
global corporation in conjunction with a technology advisory group.
Implements and tests Disaster Recovery plans and Develops and enforces
computing use policies Required
Skills: Experience managing information technology Infrastructure and/
or Applications support functions High level of business and financial
acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget Strong
technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage the design, implementation and
maintenance of strategic applications (Oracle Applications, Hyperion,
Web Design) Demonstrated experience in managing outsourced strategic
vendor relationships to add value to the business Experience with
networking (LAN and WAN), telephony, VOIP, and videoconferencing
Experience with multiple network, midrange, and mainframe operating
systems Experience in the design, implementation, and management of
high availability/high reliability global networks Preferred
Experience: Considerable business experience in a discrete
manufacturing and/or service related business
Education Required: Bachelors degree in computer-related field, or
commensurate experience
