Anyone saying trick or treat at my door will get hosed down with a power
washer
this year. I can't stand motability cars full of rude children from bad
backgrounds
doing whole areas.

Ordinary chocolate is bad enough for them:

http://www.charismamag.com/index.php/prophetic-insight/23723-the-danger-of-celebrating-halloween
"most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and
prayed over by witches. ...I do not buy candy during the Halloween
season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent
whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the
local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference."

The article was originally posted on www.cbn.com and has been widely
satirised. CBN have pulled it, but it is still found by their search
engine. One satarist has pointed out that there is positive
discrimination for empolying witches to work in food factories because
they always wear a hat, and can sweep up afterwards.

successful books to her name.

Talking of which, I've been getting SMS spam lately. Not "blatant" spam
as such, but odd messages that just sound too silly to be real. And not
from anyone I know, of course.

As silly even as some messages here? Scary.

I receive very little, but a week ago Turnpike rejected a big lump
of about 800 emails addressed to ~800 hotmail (or was it gmail?)
accounts but still somehow landing in my Demon mailbox, and purportedly
from ~800 other Demon accounts. Very oddly back-to-front.

The "To" address does not (and often doesn't) match the "RCPT-TO"
address. If you're with Demon, their mailserver offers the "*ENV"
extensions (or at least used to) so when you pull the emails, there
should be "X-ENV-TO" and "X-ENV-FROM" headers in the header block. Those
are what's used actually to route email around- it's just a like a real
letter; what it says on the envelope doesn't always match the content,
just as when your bank sends the wrong statement to a little old lady
somewhere.

Thanks. I never look at the stuff - my Turnpike mailbox has a whitelist
of One - the rest is routed into the void.

I meant "does not HAVE TO", of course, with which amendment my sentence
actually makes some sense.
