RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
Reading your posts probably prevented me doing business with these people
(See my post 25 Oct 2005) Thank you all again for that.
Just a suggestion:
But is it possible for all the people here that are having difficulty
getting their cars/refunds from Micronet to get in touch with each other
to exchange experiences/evidence and proceed against Micronet as a body??

Re: RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
As someone who is entangled in the Loach brother's web, I like the idea of
sharing knowledge/information.
I am in the process of starting legal proceedings aainst David Loach and
the LHD Car Company after a truly unbelievable experience. I have sent a
'time of the essence' letter and am awaiting a response... next up I guess
will be a statutory demand notice and so on.
Anyone have any other suggestions as to effective ways of dealing with
these guys?

Re: RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
My partner served a statutory demand on these b@st@rds, giving them 21 days
to give him a full refund. At the end of the 21 days he received a cheque
for a quarter of the amount on the demand. Sorry, that's just not good
enough.
He is now in the process of filing bankruptcy papers with the courts. His
lawyer said it's a no-brainer, there is no question they will go down with
this.
It seems even with knowing that bankruptcy is now being filed against
them, they still won't give him his money back. It's truly beyond belief.

Re: RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
Both brothers disqualified under Company Directors Disqualification
Act 1986
Section 8 - defined as below.
8: Disqualification after investigation of company.
From the following source.
http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ddir/dqdet.cgi?P=0330950703
http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ddir/dqdet.cgi?P=0591078802
But in reality has it made a difference - they are still trading and still
causing people untold misery.
This will give you there HOME ADDRESS as well.
So you can wait outside or go and talk to his neighbours and tell them all
about what good people live there, or just give him a BIG knock on the door
at 5 in the morning.
Keep going back to put the pressure on him, he has on you by keeping your
money, taking holidays, living it up all on you.
But you will see his car outside or should I say the car he has using our
money.
Well I will it with you all.

Re: RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
With the greatest of respect to those people who have lost out to Micronet.
My suggestion was to go one step further than making posts here. As
immensley useful as they were to me, as far as Micronet are concerned they
seem to amount to little more than 'a little local difficulty'.
If the forum is used to get in touch with each other directly. Then
perhaps real strategies, such as appointing a firm of specialist
solicitors to represent a 'group', can be adopted.
This way, with each action, the 'group solicitor' ia able to bring to the
Courts attention the real magnitude of the problems caused by Micronet
Directors and demonstrate that any single case is not a 'one off', but
part of systmatic and willful unlawful conduct on behalf of Micronet
Directors. Being able to bring to the Courts attention this sort of
evidence collected from the 'group' must surely strengthen any case.

Re: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
"Just a suggestion" but why don't the people that order a car from
Micronet read the Terms and Conditions??!
I found a bargain from Micronet, read the terms and conditions, worked
out if I could afford the possible percentage increase and potential
increase in lead-time and based on that decided not to go ahead. It's
not rocket sceince!

Re: RE: MICRONET SHOWROOM-JUST A SUGGESTION.......
Well anything would be a result in getting our losses back from these
crooks.
I am yet another victim of Micronet Showroom. I lost just short of £18000
to this company.
I just dont understand how the hell they get away with it?
Has anyone heard anything from the OFT and their investigation?

My father would like to contact some others who have suffered at the
thieving hands of The Loach brothers, he is currently in the hole for nearly
40K and trying to get his money back as we speak.
I would appreciate anyone contacting me on a8n6g2e8l1a9@yahoo.co.uk and
