DNS Propagation
Afternoon all

Is anyone else seeing long delays in DNS propagation. We use 123-reg and
I've had 2 domains where the nameservers went through quite quickly but it
seems to be taking 2 or 3 days for A/MX records to update.

I't driving me mad as we have one client who's losing e-mails as some users
get the mail bounced and some get through. The bounce shows that it's
trying to deliver the mail to the old server.

What TTL have 123-reg set? That will be the deciding factor here.

You need to keep services running on both old and new servers for a
minimum of 24 hours, longer if the DNS TTL is longer.
