Photos of DeVilbiss robots
Dear all,

among the first robots to appear in the industry, we can find the
hyrbid tripod robot designed by Pollard, the spherical Unimate, the
cylindrical Versatran and then there is also the DeVilbiss that took
the programming means
invented by another Pollard. They commenced commercialisation of the
first painting robot which is in fact the first articulated robot on
the market. They had hydraulic motors and were using magnetic tapes
for programming.

I am now looking for a few pictures of the original DeVilbiss painting
robots that were made in the 70's. Do you know where I could get
some ? It will go in a course that I will give the students at our
university in the UK. Of course, I will tell where they come from.

Thanks,

LHR
