TV distribution amp for DSO?
I live in Granadaland (Preston, served by Winter Hill transmitter) and the
DSO part 1 happens tomorrow. I've got Sky+ piped around the house via the
RF2 outlet of the Sky+ box and now, of course, there's a couple of Freeview
boxes (excellent reception) entering the mix as well.

I want to be able to control the Sky+ box from the bedroom via a magic-eye
thingy (which I've already got, along with another Sky+ remote) but my
existing distribution amp won't pass the magic-eye signal so I need a new
amp. However, I know that after DSO is completed the transmitter power is
ramped up quite a bit so, given that we get excellent reception now, I'm a
bit bothered that an amp, plus higher power, will cause problems.

Any suggestions as to what to do and/or which amp to buy?

Cheers

The Proception ones handle strong signals well. But if your existing amp is
OK with the present analogue, you won't have a problem with the higher
powered digis,

As you live in Preston have a look at the CPC web site -
cpc.farnell.com - as they do both Proception (as recommended by
William,) and Televes of whom I am a very happy customer. They
all have the Sky 'eye' feedback path.
