friend has itv3 problem
I have not actually been round yet, but the complaint on a Logic set top box
(one of those left over from first digital switchover sold in Currys) In
Kingston Area aimed at CP is that itv 3 will come and go but all other
channels ok.
This sounds daft to me, as surely all channels on that mux should be so
affected.
It was OK until the retune, apparently.
I asked her to turn off the AD and its still the same, as I'm sure you know
the ad on some itv channels when not in use has been implicated in suound
glitching in the past.

are you absolutely sure she's watching CP? Some parts of Kingston use weak
Guildford, being screened from CP by the higher ground of Richmond Park.
Some even use Hemel Hempstead.

Maybe their box is trying to get ITV3 from the wrong transmitter.
Need to do a "manual" retune for the specific UHF channels that are best for
the area.

Re: friend has itv3 problem
That would surely result in other channels being affected though I'd have
thought. I'll definitely check where the aerial is pointed and its
orientation though, just in case.
Sounds like it will need sighted help unfortunately.
