It's a weird one. Individually they're all really good, but it seems like
they can't play together. More than a dozen games into the season that's a
bigger worry than before when we could say "they just need time to gel".

Two things that really struck me yesterday: we had no urgency about our
play, which smacked of the old City where we'd expect to just roll over
supposedly lesser teams (which I don't think Fulham are BTW) and put no
effort in (Tevez excepted); the other thing was that despite all our attack
minded players, they were so far away from each other so often that people
had to struggle to get passes together. That may be credit to Fulham for
breaking up our pattern but it also seemed to be that we had a strategy of
either chucking it out onto the left wing and hoofing it in or lobbing it
down the channel and hoping Adebayor could control it despite being under
pressure from two defenders the whole match. Poor.

On another note, I did a FIRE WALK this weekend. I keep feeling guilty
asking people for sponsorship as it was one of the best things I've ever
done, but it's still for a good cause (MedEquip4Kids). If anyone is feeling
generous and would like to sponsor me, my page is here -
http://www.justgiving.com/mrcakey-firewalk/. There's also blurry footage of
me doing it here -
