Who isn't prejudiced in this world...if you are human you WILL have
some form of prejudice....not that that is a defence for Gandhi or
that I am accepting your claim of Gandhi having racist views....you
also need to understand that people change in their lives so a person
who may have been a staunch racist till a particular point in time may
have then changed his world view for the rest of his life...either
caused by some harsh experiences or just a realization that all is
one.

Apart from Gandhi, there have been so many others who actually ended
up winning the award that were also racist! Your argument just doesn't
work to defend Obama's winning or Gandhi's not getting the prize.
