Guess what Labour lost now ?
Hot on the heels of 25 millions petrsonal details, then 25,000 driver
details , New labour today anouce they have "LOST" Piles of Dodgy
Passports, Illegally smuggled guns, loads of siezed drugs and various other
amounts of contraband from the HM Revenue and Customs depot at coventry.
New Labour the most inept, immoral incompetant and untrustworthy bunch of
lying , treasonous war criminals the world has seen.

So he has nothing to fear, does he?
You see, government incompetence is just 'protecting the citizen' by
another name.
You don't want a government that is 100% efficient and never forgets a
detail about you, do you? Or do you?

Except that in the case of personal details...the governments 'loss' may
well be some scammer's gain!
Perhaps we should all be giving them 'misinformation' from the off....
If we all create double identities...one for the records....one for the real
world etc.
There must be thousands of artistic types in london these days...more than
able to knock up the paperwork....
Biometrics might be tricky....I can see backstreet '2nd hand' shops doing a
roaring trade....
It's certainly an idea....don't try to fuck up the ID card scheme by passive
resistance...fuck it up by active participation...VERY active...create a
couple of dozen IDs each....we'll end up with the bastards so confused,
they'll end up doubting their own identities...never mind ours!

So you'd rather have a system that can prosecute the innocent by default
because the government, which is never wrong, has mistaken them for the
guilty, based on their own "infallible" and inviolable database?

After you've explained yours, based upon your statement:
