It started off ok - then got more insincere until it dissolved into
farce and soap bubbles at the end.
I think it better be ask for a Nob rather than Nobel.
Having said that, I'd prefer to vote for Rod K. for president of
Europe that the prospective piece of shi* we current are looking at.
But then again - we don't even have a vote do we!

I heard that explained. Apparently a president who
was elected would be on a level with the US
president and that would never do.
I hope that "Not until we have EUSSR armed forces"
isn't the next stage.

Why?
At the moment our armed forces are getting shredded to no very good
purpose in Afghanistan, are badly equipped and look like not getting
the next generation of large and expensive systems they need.
How could it possibly get any worse?

And what fundamental difference do you see between that and NATO? Both
are/would be multinational forces

military command structure.
