Dishonest Dave and the politics of deceit
"David Cameron will drop within days his pledge to hold a referendum on
the Lisbon treaty, The Times has learnt.
The Conservative leader is preparing to set out a fresh stance on Europe
that will involve promising in his election manifesto to repatriate
certain key powers from Brussels.
He will also pledge to write into law that no British government will
ever again be able to push through a European treaty without a referendum"
Whoopee - a new law to protect the UK.
Except that never again *will* their be a 'European treaty' - now that
Lisbon is here, there doesn't have to be! Lisbon contains the infamous
'gangway clause' (Passerelle) allows the EU to 'annex fresh competences
without the need to consult national governments' (Telegraph)
So, Lisbon was *it*, the final treaty, the last hope. Cameron can pass
as many anti-treaty laws as he wishes, and the EU won't mind a bit -
they've got the master key, so if people want to waste time changing
locks, that's up to them.
Which, of course, Cameron knows only too well . What a duplicitous man
he has proven to be.

Very well summarized.
The only way out is to leave the EU completely - not something that is
a clever move, but well. after Lisbon it is the only way out. The
traitors in Brussels must be orgasming with delight - that is if they
are even capable of such things.
The smirks on their faces disgusts me.
Imagine if the BNP actually won the next General Election! Ok a
fantasy., But never mind those needed swings etc. After all, each
election is independent of the previous ones. I think if that
happened or even near it, there would be a kick-start reactionacross
the whole of what's left of White Europe.

Imagine if pigs could fly. The result would be much the same, a land
covered in shit.
Happily, both imaginings are impossible.

I heard him once state that it was a 'formal' treaty, that we can opt
out of.
