Texas, increasingly, is the economic and intellectual leader of the
U.S. During the last 18 months before the current recession took hold,
while the country as a whole was still creating jobs, more than half
of those jobs were created in a single state: Texas. Texas has usurped
the leadership position that, decades ago, belonged to California.
Today California is in decline, likely irreversibly so.
This is why Leftism hates Texas. It shows ,em up.
There's a clear message here at the national level.

Indeed. I wish Cameron would get hit by a bus. A localism PM would bring
about the revolution that we need.

Let's see: in 2006 Democrats swept Dallas.
In 2008 they swept Houston.
In 2010 they will likely sweep San Antonio and
enough of Ft Worth to turn the whole state Democratic.
Indeed, there IS a message here at the national level!

Heh.
Don't be too impatient. I want to see what happens after the election. I'm
happy to give Cameron a fair crack of the the whip.

Keep dreamin' and 'wishin', Holeman. You are just part of a lunatic
fringe in Texas.
Even with the swarms of people of color turning out to vote for their
Obamessiah by cult-like pluralities in Texas , Holeman:
Texas » 12:00 a.m. EST, Jan 12 '09 County Results | Map | Exit Poll
McCain 4,479,328 55%
Obama 3,528,633 44%
100% of precincts reporting
Texas Vote by Race Obama McCain
White (63%) 26% 73% 1%
And numbers of them stayed home and didn't vote at all, Holeman,
because they weren't enthused about voting for a RINO.
A few specks of blue in a sea of red in Texas, Holeman.:

"Dallas is controlled by Democrats; Houston is in their hands,
too. Its all largely because of the states growing Hispanic
population, which overwhelmingly sided with Democrats this year.
"The tide of demography in Texas is moving against the Republicans,"

Yep by cult-like pluralities and not only in Texas, Holeman.
Nothing new there, Holeman.
Every single state has its miniscule specks of blue representing the
infestation of Liberal/Socialists like sardines in a can
in the inner cities surrounded by seas of red in the rest of the
states.

Amazing:
PJ calls the three biggest cities in Texas - Houston,
Dallas, San Antonio (4+ million people) - "miniscule specks".
But only after their voters started rejecting the failed
conservative agenda, it seems........;)

There are major trends and forces working against your wishfull
thinking Holeman.
According to wiki:
"Urban decay is the sociological process whereby a city, or part of a
city, falls into disrepair and decrepitude, with depopulation or
changing population, economic restructuring, abandoned buildings, high
local unemployment, fragmented families, political disenfranchisement,
crime, and a desolate, inhospitable city landscape...."
So what if DemicRATS continue to control those inhospitable parts of
our country sliding into decay, Holeman?
