he's desperately scrabbling around for more money
as usual....
so he's desperately scrabbling around for excuses
to sell them quickly...
he has no concern for britain
all his interest concentrates on a forlorn hope of saving his
worthless skin

Only if it's going in his pocket before he slips the country.

Has there been any announcement of a price as yet?
The sooner political fingers are out of bank pies altogether the
better. If and when this is achieved then the next ambition needs to
be the wind up of the FSA and the supervision/regulation of the
banking sector returned to the BoE.
What we should really be worrying about is where the money that will
eventually be realised from the selling off of public assets will end
up. It came from borrowing. Will it be used to buy back public debt or
will it be squandered on various schemes that promise a lot but yield
little.
What's the betting?

It would be better placed in his pockets when someone pushes him off
the pier.
