Take Action Now: Defend Science in Utah

Last week, in response to your efforts, the Ohio Board of Education voted 11-4, 
barring intelligent design from Ohio's classrooms.

Now, Utah's students need your help.

A bill is pending in the state legislature that would require teachers to 
present alternatives to evolution, such as intelligent design, as part of their 
life science lesson plans. Utah legislators are expected to vote on this 
measure, the House version of SB 96, within the next 10 days. Take action now!

Last week's victory in Ohio illustrated the growing opposition to the teaching 
of intelligent design in the classroom. Despite this win for evolution, the 
religious right has moved on to the next front in their war on science. With 
your help, we'll stop them in their tracks.
