Last week I indicated that after the brother of England football
legend Stuart Pearce, Dennis was revealed to have stood for the BNP on
the London Assembly list by the Sunday People, there would be another
relative of a household name who would be standing as a candidate.

I can now reveal that the candidate will be Angela Reid and the
election will be in early October in Braintree, Essex. Angela is the
daughter of the much loved and greatly missed former Eastenders star
Mike Reid. Mike who played Frank Butcher was also of course a notable
comedian in his own right and had appeared in a number of films
including Spartacus and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Mike a genuine
household name had also been a stunt double for Roger Moore. I also
remember him from my childhood as being the host of the children's
programme, Runaround.

Speaking to Angela today, she sounds like an excellent candidate with
a lot to say about where this country is going wrong. She faces a
straight fight between the Conservatives, LibDems, Labour and the
Greens. The election being called by the resignation of Conservative
councillor Bill Rose, a former officer with the Royal Corps of
Signals, who it would seem was let down by his colleagues and as such
stood down as a matter of principle.

Depends who 'Us' is. There were British, French, Dutch, Muslim,
Norwegian and many other volunteer SS units, who must have thought
