There is still a lot of quackery, in particular amongst psychologists
and psychiatrists, as witnessed by all these spurious claims of
cannabis fried
brains.

Alcohol causes death. Many thousands or people die every year as a
consequence
of alcohol abuse (and I'm not talking about people who drink and
drive).
Nobody has every died as a consequence of cannabis abuse.
Nothing is as irreversible as death.

You really shouldn't be asking advice on usenet about your alcohol
problems, you need professional help. You should seek it for your own
sake, Blah.

Sort your own problems out, Blah. If you want support from other
boozers you could try AA.

OK Blah, I'll not mention your drinking problem again.
But you don't pass snide and insulting comments about "dirty smelly
potheads with fried brains."

The sort of person you are is pretty clear, Blah. But what else could
be expected of an old boozer with an alcohol pickled brain.
I suppose the bottle is the only comfort a knackered old misfit like
you has got.
