Sorry, I don't see the irony.

Also, I've never seen any claims that THC cures leukemia. Cannabis may help
in remission of leukemia in some people, but I haven't seen enough studies to
know how likely that is.

I do know there is research that indicates some components of cannabis (I
don't think it is THC) can shrink some cancer tumors, though.

Various components of cannabis have been shown to have
antibiotic effects, others anti-histaminic. Others still have
been shown to be effective in reducing certain tumors & the right
choice of breed may bring improvement in appetite. inhaled
vaporised THC may show that it can help with illnesses that
generate excessive mucus in the bronchi as THC will stimulate
the action of the villi in expelling such secretions but that
is only speculation.Maybe it could even make a throat lozenge.

Besides those there are the ancient uses of fiber from
the plant which is maybe appropriate technology, the seeds
contain a delicately flavored nutty oil high in Omega compounds.
The core of the stalk can be turned into smooth high quality
paper and if you need stronger paper the fibre could be added
to make it so, the paper.

Hemp was spun into rope for the US Navy during the
War of Independence and for some time after. Hemp paper
provided the media of communication for the Committees of
Correspondence which organized the resistance to the
British Crown and their troops.

Hemp helped and it was (despite the ban in 1937)
being grown during the WW II era for rope at the request of
the Government of the USA.

	Hemp Helps Freedom!

Now maybe your mind will be blown by a plant that
help beat Hitler.s Navies by suppling cordage for the
Allied Fleets.

	Later
Bliss totering off to have a spot of Cocoa which once
was reserved to the Highest of Spanish ecclesiasticals.

I don't hate, Blah, I'm very non-judgemental. I admire your courage in

My body and mind are just fine, I am 35, run two successful business

doesn't interfere with the prior.

All your pot seems to do is raise hackles when people point out that it

Having a drink to control your morning shakes and get you through the
day isn't doing you any good in the long run, Blah.

You worry about your own drug habits, you won't be able to keep the
DT's at bay forever.

Where did you get *that* pearl from? I don't have a drink *most* days
until after 10pm. I *sometimes* have a drink after sport on the weekend.
I have never drunk in the morning, nor do I touch spirits apart from
maybe twice a year. And all my drinking is social - in the pub with
customers , or after my return with the missus.

How does that compare with your habit - bet you have a joint or a least
a fag in the the morning, plus a toke or two all day?
Smoke it on your own in a quiet corner?

I haven't got any dt's, but I'm beginning to suspect *you* are a
recovering alcoholic, you seem to know a *lot* more about the symptoms
than I ever will.

The reason it doesn't interfere is because it is legally available and
properly regulated.

You don't have to hide your alcohol habit or behave in a secretive manner
around alcohol just for fear of general persecution, random violence or life
changing criminal sanction. You don't have to make any effort to ensure the
drinks are actually available before you set off on a night out or research
a possible alternative source each and every time.
Unlike illicit drugs you know what you want, will get what you pay for and
won't generally have any difficulty finding it. The people selling you
alcohol don't need a gun, gang and air of menace as tools of the trade to
fight off the competition. In order to get a drink you aren't required to
jump through elaborate hoops so your local seller can avoid detection and
still be there next time you want a drink.

In short, the only reason it doesn't interfere is because prohibition isn't
part of the alcohol equation.

You live in the real world?
I have already posted further up that prohibition does not involve *any*
of the above in my city, and I suspect on every housing estate in the
country, as we have *door to door delivery*!

Yes, there are more than a handfull of local dealers who will deliver
your choice of drugs to your house, with discount for volume.

My missus has her fags delivered by one of them, once a week.

The other source of course is that *every* user inevitably does a little
dealing, so they buy a little more than they need and sell it to friends
- for a little profit of course..

The only people who have *problems* getting drugs are the yuppy or
student types that just want a toke once in a blue moon and don't know
the protocols of who and where.

The paradox is that the only people who don't have to worry about the
gestapo kicking their front door off it's hinges are those who choose to
poison themselves with truly deadly drugs like alcohol and tobacco.

Even sober people have to worry about that as we hear about many
raids conducted on people who lead blameless lives/
