Not to mention that Jesus' first recorded miracle in the New Testament is
turning water into wine for a wedding celebration.  And it mentions quite
clearly that people were getting drunk.

Part of the diff between the Aryan and Semitic spirituality is that the 
latter environment was so lacking in herbs and fungi that could be used
