=> Ryan O'Neal and Son Arrested on Drug Charges in LA <= All in the Family!
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Ryan O'Neal and his son, Redmond, were charged
with possessing methamphetamine on Wednesday following a search of their home,
officials said.

They were arrested at their home in Malibu during a predawn probation check by
officers, said Sgt. Diane Hecht, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County
Sheriff's Department.

The sweep of the home stemmed from a probation case involving Redmond O'Neal,
23, said Kerri Webb, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Probation
Department.

O'Neal and his son were booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance
and each was being held in jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, Hecht said.

O'Neal, 67, has starred in the television show "Bones" on the Fox television
network. He first came to fame on the soap opera "Peyton Place" in the 1960s,
and he earned an Oscar nomination in 1971 for his role in the movie "Love
Story."

His daughter Tatum O'Neal, 44, a former child star, pleaded guilty in July to
disorderly conduct stemming from a drug arrest in June.

I feel much safer now. Thank goodness authorities didn't instead waste
this time on trivialities like murder or rape.

And a moron like you assumes that the Homicide Squad shut down completely
to raid the O'Neal drug den ?

Straw man. What I assume is that any man-hours spent on drug offenses
are man-hours not spent on murder or rape ... or is it your belief
that cops can bilocate?

They got a Homicide Squad in Malibu???? Probably it's Columbo!!!

Stupid cops, pigs all of them. There is not one cop in El Lay that does not
deserve to be dragged out of his police car and shot on site just for wearing a badge.

Why sweep O'Neal's house, one house...Why not sweep all the houses on Malibu?
They buy the drugs by the pound you motherfuckin stupid cops. You probably can
get a ton in one sweep! Instead, you got these stupid fuckin cops pinching
people for a little pill or joint.

You know, I got a call on my phone...
some guy on the other end tells me
he's calling from the Police Department
and wants to know if I would like to
give money to the Police Association
or something like that...

I told him "I HATE COPS, WHY WOULD I WANT TO GIVE THEM MONEY???"

So all law enforcement divisions other than "rape and murder"

No.

Resources should go into solving real crimes instead of wasting police
time on what people decide to shove up their own noses in private.

So criminals serving their sentences should be allowed to

The current legality of alcohol does not imply the current legality of
flying drunk ... nor would the legality of any other drug imply the
legality of flying under its influence.

The current legality of alcohol does not imply the current legality of
flying drunk ... nor would the legality of any other drug imply the
legality of flying under its influence.

So you'd support surgeons and doctors being allowed to drink,
shoot heroin or smoke crack while treating patients, eh?

So what "legal limits" would you set for heroin, cocaine, meth, etc
once they were legalized, eh?

It is too late for them. What's your point: that since America hasn't
always observed its value of individual liberty, it never should?

Are they now allowed to drink while treating patients? Quit beating

I'd be content to see zero-tolerance limits for flying and
doctoring ... and even driving (although as with alcohol, beyond a
certain point restrictions are more a revenue stream than a genuine
safety measure). No limits at all on use in one's own home or the home/
business of any willing host ... as with alcohol.

So the mechanics that work on civilian aircraft should be allowed
to consume any/all drugs they desire, even while on the job, if "the host"
is willing, eh?

Just give them Medical Marijuana!
http://www.marijuanamedicine.com/?gclid=CJG1zZO35pUCFQsQagod82Blfg

It's legal!!!!

Of course, the minute they give it to prisoners, there won't be anymore
criminals in the streets because they'll all be trying to get *into* prison!!!

Where is the nearest bank, I need to go to jail?

The only criminal on the streets left will be the lawyers...

Of course the problem is going to be...
How do you get the medical marijuanna into the prison system without the police stealing it all?

You don't think I trust those fuckin pigs do you?

How do you think prisoners manage to have cell phones in their cell?
The fuckin police (excuse me, i mean the pigs) are selling it to them!
And where do you think the "pigs" get the cell phones from? They steal
it from the citizens they arrest! They certaintly are not going to spend
their dougnut money on cell phones.

Now, I have a question. Why is it, when a police officer leaves off to
work, his wife or girlfriend...first thing she does is have sex
with anyone they could find? I find that strange. Everybody seems to
be banging cops wives, except the cop himself. I want to live
next door to a cops wife, because I know I'm in like flint anytime of the day.

Now I know why those cops are so stressed, cause everybody is getting it from
her except him.

The female cops, my Gawd!!! Those chicks are like burning up when they come home!

I practically had to *tear* myself away from a female cop! Those girls fuck like horses!!

They are in the patrol car all day with some stupid pig guy...by the time
she gets home she is wet....

So who is the next top attorney that's going to get indicted?

Those guys sex lives are sick! I don't even want to talk about it...

Maybe the risk of civil suit, job loss, etc. is enough to keep them in
line. That's certainly no argument against legalization of other drugs.

No, not alcohol nor any other drug. What, if anything, is your point?

So you *do* support surgeons and doctors being allowed
to shoot heroin and smoke crack whilst treating patients, eh?

The point clearly made is that you don't have any rational, logical nor
consistent
position.

No, I don't support them doing those things, nor drinking alcohol,
while treating patients ... I do support preventing them using for
legalized drugs the mechanisms currently, and effectively, in place
for alcohol (possibly in addition to criminal laws).

You're not under the delusion that you're making a sound argument
against drug legalization here, are you?

Wrong as usual; my rational, logical and consistent position is that
the laws regarding currently illegal drugs should be changed to be
very similar to those for the drug alcohol ... which are working much
better than banning that drug did.
