That is not what I hear from inside government and at the ACMD hearing on Tuesday
the presentation by Professor Louis Appleby, National Director of Mental Health for
the Department of Health was impressive. He was very clear about the mental harm,
we heard of patient suicides and homicides, 68% had taken cannabis, we (as a
society) are guilty of complacency (about cannabis), causal factor, benefits
from re-classification. health perspectives and much more. Professor Appleby was
hugely convincing. HE is not playing politics. He is in no doubt at all that
re-classification is needed. Incidentally the THC and CBD issue does seem to have
some legs, home grown weed is strong in THC but significantly it has much less CBD
than quality resin. It was suggested that CBD moderates the dangerous potential of
THC, which is something I have long thought.

Any chance of stringing your snippets into a coherent argument? I find
you less than hugely convincing. have you enjoyed a smoke yourself at all?
