Talking shops
Do we need MP's, Committees et al any longer? We have the Tony and Gordon
duo deciding policies (with a few unelected advisors). Legislation when
required
is whipped throung the Commons with the threat of deselection and no time
served
gong if bolshie so why does anyone bother? They're even passing
legislation that
will enable ministers (appointed under the above threats) to rescind any
earlier
legislation that does not suit. It seems more like 1933 all over again,
albeit in
a slightly different guise.
