Curry tycoon withdraws from peerage nomination.
A Curry tycoon who lent Labour £250,000 has announced that he is
asking for his nomination for a seat in the House of Lords to be
withdrawn.
In a statement, Sir Gulam said the current controversy had placed him
in an "invidious position".
