Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill - arbitrary powers for Ministers by Order, no exempt Acts, no full public consultation no detailed scrutiny by Parliament
In case you have failed to notice, Our Dear Leader is currently trying
to get Parliament to dissolve itself and hand power over to the
ministers that he gets to choose. His meglomania has increased recently
as has his distain for Freedom and Democracy. His latest wheeze is
breathtakingly bold however.
Its called the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill
The Preamble
A Bill To enable provision to be made for the purpose of reforming
legislation and implementing recommendations of the Law Commission, the
Scottish Law Commission and the Northern Ireland Law Commission; to
make provision about the exercise of regulatory functions; to make
provision about the interpretation of legislation relating to the
European Communities and the European Economic Area; to make provision
relating to section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972; and for
connected purposes.
Read through it and it soon becomes obvious that it is a power grab on
behave of the executive branch of government. It basically means that
Ministers will have almost unlimited rights to make Laws.
And a group of Cambridge University lawyers, led by professor John
Spencer QC, has warned that the bill could potentially allow ministers
to rewrite virtually any act of parliament, permitting them, for
example, to abolish jury trial, put people under house arrest, rewrite
immigration law or sack judges.

The abolition of parliament act!
David Icke had a story on that a while back, while he may be outlandish,
(in fact his theory is just like the film "They Live" but he hasn't
invented the sunglasses yet, I wouldn't totally write off his theory,
certainly our rulers think they are a separate species higher up the
food chain with a right to live in a life style far removed/above from the
average) his site contains some interesting stories.

Well, according to my calculations, the robots
won't go berserk for at least 24 hours...
Oh, I forgot to, er, carry the one.
