Flabber has just been oh so ghasted !!!
Just had an e-mail fro British Gas. Apparently I'm £129 in credit so
they've reduced my direct debit payments by £10 per month. It almost
feelss like winning the lottery - - - - - - - - - - again. :)

Well Done!
It pays to keep on top of them though. I kept gas and electric meter
records for a year after we bought this house, then I did some
research, then I phoned our supplier. "I could do much better with
Eon" I said. "Well, we reckon you are using about xx per month" he
said. "That's what my figures say, so why are you charging us 67% more
than that?" I said. "We can reduce the payments if you like." he
said. "Thank you" I said.

My flabber was so ghasted because I didn't do anything except send them
yesterday's meter reading on the net. They usually have re-assessed and
amended my DD payments in May so this one was out of the blue and so a
complete surprise. Added to the winter fuel payment that usually comes
later this month means it looks like being a good month. Now where are
tonight's Lotto numbers? :)
