Please forward as many spam complaints as possible to:
abuse@theplanet.com regarding ebid's spam attack against usenet. I
recommend text similar to:

"Your user, www.ebid.net has engaged in a relentless spam attack on
usenet. As such they have crossed the line and become a serious
problem, and we'd like to request that you take whatever action
necessary to terminate their spamming. Failure to do so may result in
legal action against you, so we recommend that you take this complaint
seriously.

Please note that we do not differentiate marked spam, and spam posted
using anonymous re-mailers. Spam posted by anonymous re-mailers is
always attributed to the beneficiary of the spam."

Be polite, but very firm that they are a rogue outfit and need to be
shut down. Only massive complaints will work, and it is up to us to
make sure that 'theplanet.com' gets the message as quickly as
possible.

theplanet is their web host. That's 100% involvement. A few thousand
emails to info@ebid.net would not hurt eitehr.

Try mark.wilkinson@ebid.net . I'd bet info just goes to /dev/null.

Surely some bright PERL programmer (Hello Iggie?)
could write some kind of script that would automatically
send a canned email to the apropriate address every time
the pink meat is encountered.

Maybe he could also figure out how to make a ball
point pen write when you pick the damn thing up.
