Another Sky card replacement?
A week or so ago I installed the replacement card sent to me by Sky.
Today I have a letter headed:
'FREESAT from Sky: Please Register now for your free replacement Sky
viewing card'
Was it an oversight that this wasn't included in the recent update?

I have been using Freesat from sky for quite a few years now.
Message on my screen every 15 mins advising to update card.
Looked on website and if you purchased your Freesat card after 2006 they
would exchange it for free.
I entered my card number to find it was purchased in 2003 and was asked to
update my card by paying sky £20.

I am not going to bother with a replacement FTV card as there is only Five
US & Fiver on it and they will go FTA at some stage!

Once the fairies create magical Astra 2D spotbeam transponders out of
nowhere, perhaps.

Five now seems to map its FTA stream that's on 10773H that the BBC transmit
for them (for BBC/ITV Freesat) for Region 2 post areas on Sky 105. That's
areas of England and Wales south of a line from the Mersey to The Wash
excluding London.
