The slippery slope
I hope that this gets more widespread coverage. The MP's expenses issue is
of concern, but this is a fundamental attack on transparency. Imagine if
this had been allowed to happen when the expenses story broke?

Chris H,
He's predictable, but that's to be expected.

The irony is that it wouldn't have been much of a story, except by trying to
suppress it has become the big news story and the background of what it is
about and what the MP/question was is now published on many sites to read.
The worrying thing will be the establishment coming down of blogs and trying
to stop free (written) speech, which will all be done under the banner of
counter terrorism and national security.
