A few are from the Mendip Raceway over 30 years ago.  Those were the
days:  the racers were real characters, no-nonsense but full of spirit:
put you into the track fence one minute and lend you all their tools
and a tow home and a beer after the race!

They came from all over the British Ises to race at Mendip, and I hear
that nowadays it's just as fast (but higher-tech.)
