I have an unusual request to ask you today: will you help the BNP un-lock the enormous potential of social networking? Let me explain.

Social networking is the future. Tens of millions of people all around the world use social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, Bebo and Twitter, to name a few. Social networking is fast becoming the ultimate internet platform for communication and socialising between vast numbers of Britons and other kindred peoples around the world.

Over the last week, our internet team has been briefing me on an exciting new project: they want funding to create a BNP social networking 'application'… I'm probably no the best person to explain this, but I'll try:

We need a mere £700 to pay for the creation, by an industry standard computer-programmer, of an application that can be downloaded and installed on any social networking site. This will be a dedicated BNP application, complete with a box to sign-up to our email bulletins and other features.

Just imagine the power of that! At the moment we are dependent on our website to generate new email subscribers and act as a politically in-correct new service. Imagine multiplying the power of our website by thousands! That is the potential we are asking you to help us un-lock for the benefit of our Cause!

Our internet team carried out some calculations and grasped that there are some 50-100,000 BNP supporters or sympathisers on Facebook alone! Creating this BNP application is a great way, perhaps the only way, to mobilise this vast army of supporters and turn them into members, donors or even activists.

Our internet team has been bombarding me with corporate 'success stories' over the last week where various companies in Britain or the US have watched their business or trade sky-rocket the moment they advertised or plunged into social networking. This is what we can achieve: a gigantic new audience to spread the message of British patriotism - imagine the benefits in terms of new support and fundraising! Imagine the hugely increased capacity we will be able to throw at the forthcoming General Election campaign!

You might say, "If this project is so important why can't the Party just pay for it out of central funds?" There are a number of reasons why we simply cannot afford this at present, the main ones being that we have just emerged out of a titanic election campaign and also most funds are tied up with the forthcoming Red, White & Blue 2009 festival.

Our target for this project is £700. I consider this project so important for the future that I am personally going to donate a gift of £25 towards it. Will you join me and also give a small gift towards our target?

There really is no time to lose! We must get this project off the ground now so that we can enjoy the enormous benefits it will bring in time to make a difference for the General Election campaign.
