Random postmen
I have just had another random postman deliver next door's mail through
to me. I am guessing that these are untrained strikebreakers. One would
think they could find some literate people amongst the ranks of the
unemployed. Perhaps no-one else is willing to scab for NMW.

you're lucky it wasn't delivered 200 miles away or dumped in the
local sewage overflow

They are agency workers. Desperate. Ours doesn't speak any English at
all, comes from Africa, and can be seen still wandering around the
street with post at 7pm. Poor sod.

Likewise. Indian gentleman in sandshoes puzzles over inconsistent house
numbering.

He shouldn't be in employment if he can't speak English. Bloody hell,
he shouldn't even be in the country.

Things are different now: there's a shortage of housing and jobs. And
such services as health and education are under pressure.
