Lifeboat in Cleethorpes
Does anyone remember the Lifeboat pub in Cleethorpes in the late 70s and
early 80s. That was the best pub I have ever been in. What a great place.

You would have to go a long way to find one, I'll bet, or the old fashioned
wooden skittles for that matter.
Which brings me to another topic on pub games.......how many today have
heard of "Dwile Flonking" or even know what it is for that matter. I know of
one landlord who still has the Lincoln area Dwile Flonking trophy tucked
away.

There was an article in last weeks Rasen Mail. Tom Wood has aquired a
refurbished ar bar billiards table for the Red Lion in Rasen. The last
place I remember seeing one is the Horse & Cart at Scawby Brook which is now
knocked down.
