Is this the same Windows 7 that has not been released yet BUT is to
have a patch applied in the latest Microsoft MEGA security update to
fix 34 vulnerabilites ... some months old !!

Things that worry me: Seeing the Windows logo bouncing on a broken
Tesco Self Service checkout screen .... Oh dear, my money and all my
shopping secrets go through there :-|

Windows 7 has had a couple of non critical updates since the RTM date,
Today's security update for windows 7 is I believe just this one.

'One update, rated as critical, tackles a loophole in Internet Explorer 8
running under Windows 7.'

Most of the others are for windows XP

As for your shopping, I understood the ATM at Tesco are running windows
2000, as I know a lot of them are, (ours certainly are) :-)
