Good 'ole Darling
Just to score a political point he has frozen public sector pay. (or at
least the high earners which is most of them). His timing may be suspect,
his action is spot on! Vote New Labour for cuts! lol

Someone has finally woken up and smelt the coffee. I wonder why Labour is
muttering the "cuts" word so frequently. A gilts strike might be on the
cards. I have always wondered how they could afford to employ diversity
outreach managers at 80K. The axe is going to fall on these public sector
parasites who do nothing but push pen and paper all day.

I understand and appreciate that there has to be some admin and
bureaucracy, but apparently there's more pen-pushers in the Department of
Transport than were in the whole Civil Service in the 1930's when Britain
ruled over a quarter of the globe.
