If the tolling infrastruture changes have indeed been made for an
entirely different purpose, then why on earth is there no information
relating to this anywhere on the net? These changes required
expenditure of a considerable amount of public money, and surely the
purpose for them should be made clear to those paying the cost?

Its simply not good enough that there is no proper records concerning
how public money is used, and bent MPs ripping off a few million a
year is I feel very much the tip of the iceberg!

The biggest scams here in the UK currently have to do with things like
PFI and construction (such as the M27 toll upgrades), and if accurate
information aout these things ever came out, the public outcry about
the bent MPs would seem very tame in comparision to that relating to
scams which involve billions of pounds of public money................

But in terms of gullibility most people here in the UK feel
comfortable with accepting the utter drivel generated by types such as
"Steve Firth", so unless the corporate media decides to bite off the
hand thats feeding it, then the really big scams are not likely to
ever see the light of day!
