A1101 Black spot
I'm writing to try to drum up support for the A1101 Accident Black Spot
campaign all the main info is on our new website at :-
http://www.ablackspot.co.uk it explains about the history of the campaign
its aims and why just this small 250 metre section of the Sutton road is so
dangerous and has been for so long.

Well, I thought I'd click on the link....
My initial reaction - your campaign, the website is fatally flawed. Without
a clear map of the area (not the very poor reproduction of the council map)
I couldn't quickly make out where the problem lies. So I lost interest.....

As someone who lives in ANOTHER Sutton, I think you could be clearer as to
where this place is.
"The ?? to ?? road" conveys information outside your immediate area better
than "the A1101 at Sutton".
The solid double lines looks like your best bet.
Drivers drive faster than they are told by road signs, usually, and overtake
unwisely.
That's a couple of facts of life, so solid lines and an
apparently-overcautious speed limit are your best and cheapest options to
pursue, I think.
Just an afterthought, are people being killed by head-on collisions on this
road?
If so, why are they vertaking when they can't see where they will wind up?
Darwin's Law is cruel and unrelenting.
