Correction, I was balancing the verbal jousting by pointing out that
certain incumbents of "that other place" were out of kilter. I assume
you realise that Rosenstiel chap's more than likely emailed your posting
to the letter writer and further down he encourages complaints to your
ISP? Bit of a mammy's boy tell-tale is he?

Seriously though, you ought to be asking the council what part of your
tenancy agreement allow them to withdraw doing repairs unless you comply
with the letter you received. Failing that demand to know what Statute
of English Law will they invoke to deprive you of your tenancy rights.
Smacks a bit of Stalinism and intimidation to me.
