Recommend a DS game for an 8yr old girl
My niece is getting her first DS (first videogame machine full stop)
in the next few weeks.

Game recommendations?

or nintendogs.

predictable answers really, but probably the two games least likely to
disappoint.

Would you like a chocolate covered pretzel, Chris F?

And Cooking Mama. Also, I don't know what they're like, I'd recommend
checking some reviews first, but considering her age you might want to look
at the High School Musical games too.

Going for Nintendogs Chihuahua edition.

All of the above are excellent suggestions. There's also Hello Kitty
Big City Dreams, which features, well, Kitty. Depends if she likes
Hello Kitty or not. The DS market is awash with franchises from
Disney, everything from Lilo and Stitch to the Disney Princesses to
the Animaniacs (yes, they still exist).
